Bottle Cap Snowmen
Materials

bottle caps

paintbrushes

small buttons

varies coloured yarn

coloured (preference) ribbon

white, black, orange, and red acrylic paint (+ glitter, if you choose)

a few toothpicks
Steps
-
Paint (3) bottle caps white – you’ll need to do several coats (let it dry in between) to get the full effect.

Once bottle caps are dried + painted, take out your ribbon & hot glue gun.
-
Line up your ribbon straight on a table and place the 3 bottle caps (flat end down) on the hot glued ribbon. This is to hold the 3 bottle caps together.

Create a loop on the top of the bottle caps to hang on your tree (trim any excess ribbon).

Flip over your snowman so the white painted caps are showing. Grab your coloured acrylic paint + toothpicks (I used a paper plate to put paint on).

Use your toothpick to paint on black dotted eyes, mouth and buttons and the orange is for the nose.

Grab your yarn and tie it between the first and second caps for the scarf effect.

Hot glue your buttons on the left side of the snowmens.
TMNT Bulbs
Materials

Multi-sized green bulbs

Red, Purple, Orange, Blue ribbon

Multi-sized googly eyes

Hot glue gun + sticks
Steps
-
Have your bulb ready – hot glue the ribbon and stick on the middle (or a few cm’s above the middle) of the bulb.

Cut excess ribbon off the bulb.

Hot glue on goggly eyes.
Materials

white spray paint (** arcylic white paint will do fine)

brown pipe cleaners

Olaf Egg Carton
Ornaments
Steps
-
Spray paint (or paint with acrylic paint) egg cartons, letting dry in between coats.

Cut each 'egg fitting' out. Trim the edges til smooth.

Cut brown pipe cleaners to 3-4cm for the hair pieces.
-
Draw a 'loose' triangle for the nose on the orange construction paper and cut out.
-
Hot glue on pipe cleaners to the top of the egg carton, apply the googly eyes and nose.
-
With your black permanment marker, draw on mouth.
Popsicle Stick Snowman Ornaments
Materials
-
popsicle sticks (8 per ornament)
-
white paint/paint brush
-
black permanment marker
-
red pipe cleaners (glitter ones optional)
-
large googly eyes
-
medium buttons (assorted)
-
foam (for the star) **I used yellow card stock paper
-
hot glue
-
scissors (stronger ones)
Steps
-
Cut one of the popsicle sticks in half.
-
Place 5 to 8 popsicle sticks together in a straight line and hold. Hot gule one half closer to the top and the other closer to the bottom. This creates the form.Turn over.

Leaving 1/3 for the top, paint the bottom while, apply a few coats.

Using your permanment black marker (or paint), paint the top black and extra 2 popsicle sticks for the hat.

Hot glue the 2 extra popsicle sticks in between the while and black paint/marker.

Grab your ribbon or pipe cleaner and cut just as wide as your 5 to 8 popsicle sticks. Hot glue just above the 2 horizontal black sticks.

Cut your red pipe cleaners for the mouth and hot glue.

Hot glue on googly eyes and button for a nose.

Trace out or draw a star and cut. Hot glue on the left hand side of the 2 horizontal sticks.
Egg Carton
Reindeer
Materials

Egg cartons
-
Red/Green pom-pom

Smaller googly eyes

Brown card stock paper
-
Hot glue gun
-
Brown spray paint
Steps
-
Spray paint egg cartons, evenly, allowing to dry in between coats.

Once dry, cut out the egg cartons individually and trim the edges until smooth.

Draw (or trace) out antlers using brown card stock paper. Cut.

Hot glue googly eyes, pom-poms.
-
Hot glue antlers to the back (about 2/3 of the way).
